An increas­ing num­ber of sur­round pro­duc­tions in the seg­ment of elec­tron­ic music leads to the ques­tion once again where the trend is going. In the focus of this evening there are con­nec­tions between space and sig­nals, tech­ni­cal finess­es and the analy­sis of the inter­de­pen­den­cies of tonal and image planes. Richie Hawtin’s state of the art pro­duc­tion in the seg­ment of min­i­mal elec­tro “de9” is con­front­ed with the danc­ing pat­terns on oscil­lo­scope screens gen­er­at­ed by Robin Fox.
