In his book “A Thousand Machines” Gerald Raunig refines the term of the machine as suggested by the French philosophers Félix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze: to understand the machine not any longer as a technical construction but as a social composition and concatenation. As a fabric of technical, physical, intellectual and social components this idea of machine infiltrates the opposition of human and machine, organism and mechanism. With par008 these machines are supposed to be connected to poststructuralistic, postdramatic and feministic discourses which are the basis for Gini Müllers tour de force through a manifold world of political forms of action. Her book “Possen des Permativen” refers to minority (theatre) capabilities for the articulation of resistance as well as to subversive performative strategies for the “queerization” of the normative gender theatre.
As if this would not be enough a table with books from the Infoladen Treibsand will be on-site at this evening.
